Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead systems engineering activities to specify, develop, integrate, qualify and certify Health Management and electrical & lighting systems in accordance with Airbus Defence and Space standards.
  • •Define HUMS and electrical & lighting system architectures and elaborate product detailed designs aligned with allocated requirements.
  • •Specify, require, and support laboratory, ground, and flight tests needed for development, certification and qualification (V&V) of the systems.
  • •Gather and analyze customer requirements, and define checkpoints/reviews aligned with program phases and gates.
  • •Lead data management for massive information and support integration of the Health management or electrical & lighting system on aircraft.

Key Requirements

  • •2-3 years (Systems Engineer) or typically 4+ years (Electrical & Lighting) of professional experience in relevant system/electrical design and development.
  • •Experience in on-board hardware/software equipment design life-cycle and supplier management.
  • •Strong knowledge of development and integration activities from requirements capture through verification/validation to achieve qualified/certified systems.
  • •Good knowledge of procurement activities, including supplier selection and monitoring/control.
  • •English fluency (Spanish a plus) and willingness to travel.
