Job Summary

Drive sales growth by acting as the primary technical resource for digital controls opportunities, translating client needs into tailored solutions across HVAC controls, industrial automation, building management systems, and IoT platforms. Deliver technical product demonstrations, proposals, and specifications; identify new business in target markets and advise existing clients on upgrades. Partner with product, project management, and engineering teams to ensure smooth sales-to-implementation transitions and provide post-sales troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team by delivering product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with prospective clients.
•Assess client needs and design/recommend digital control system solutions across HVAC, industrial automation, building management systems, and IoT platforms.
•Develop and deliver technical proposals, scope-of-work documents, and specifications.
•Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with existing clients on controls upgrades and optimizations.
•Partner with project management and engineering teams for sales-to-implementation transition and provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
•Knowledge of thermodynamics, electrical circuits, and fluid dynamics for digital controls used in HVAC/power/industrial processes.
•Understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Control (DDC), including DDC logic, controller programming, and hardware architecture.
•Knowledge of IP networking, cybersecurity for OT (Operational Technology), and cloud integration, plus ability to explain system integration across platforms.
•Ability to read blueprints/mechanical plans and perform take-offs to create cost estimates, and experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot to manage sales pipelines.
