Job Summary

Own Fireworks’ most strategic partner relationships and deliver technical co-sell outcomes. Build reference architectures, run benchmarks, and ship code to deploy production-ready inference and fine-tuning solutions across partner ecosystems. Lead joint POCs and MVPs, perform load testing to establish latency/throughput/cost baselines, and guide model selection and fine-tuning strategy. Translate partner feedback into product improvements and create external technical materials that help partners win.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the technical owner for a strategic partner relationship, making Fireworks the default inference and fine-tuning layer in partner AI architectures.
•Build and deliver end-to-end POCs and MVPs with partner engineering teams, working within their codebases and infrastructure constraints.
•Run load tests and tune deployments to meet latency, throughput, and cost targets using realistic customer traffic profiles.
•Deploy and validate model families on inference frameworks (vLLM, SGLang) and determine optimal shapes, quantization configs, and serving patterns.
•Own the feedback loop from partners to Fireworks engineering, ship technical content (reference architectures, integration guides, benchmark posts), and track pipeline health weekly.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 260,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years in a pre-sales, partner engineering, forward-deployed, or technical consulting role.
•Demonstrated ability to build production software with customers and ship code in production environments.
•Strong Python skills and comfort debugging production code; familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure engineering.
•Hands-on fluency with LLM inference (latency/throughput tradeoffs, batching, quantization, structured outputs, function calling).
•Real experience with fine-tuning (LoRA at minimum; RFT is a plus) and deep familiarity with the Azure AI stack (Azure Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure ML, AKS, Entra/RBAC).
