Job Summary

Develop and maintain educational technology solutions for a polytechnic institution, including configuring an LMS (LMS plugins, themes, workflows, roles, enrollments, grading), extending a Student Information System, and building/maintaining the institutional website and online assessment platforms. Create integrations via APIs, automate reporting and grading, ensure performance and backups, and support academic staff with effective usage. Work across web applications, portals, and third-party EdTech while maintaining documentation and system security.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, configure, and customize an LMS, including plugins, themes, workflows, and course/user/enrollment and grading configurations.
•Develop and customize SIS modules for academic records, enrollment, results management, integrations, reporting, data accuracy, and backups.
•Develop and maintain the institutional website (fip.edu.sa), including new pages/features, CMS configuration, publishing workflows, and performance optimization.
•Configure and customize online assessment/examination systems, including question banks, templates, automated grading, and integrations with LMS and SIS.
•Design and extend additional web-based educational applications/portals, evaluate third-party EdTech solutions, and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
•Minimum 5–7 years of experience in web development.
•Strong proficiency in PHP, React, node.js, Python, and C#.
•Experience with ASP.NET, Django, and Laravel.
•Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle/Canvas) and database technologies including MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
