Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the vertical portfolio strategy, building business cases, opportunity sizing, segmentation, and priority order for investment decisions.
  • •Own the vertical business number and define a scorecard for each priority vertical across pipeline, win rate, attach, workflow adoption, activation, channel performance, and customer proof.
  • •Become the market expert on financial workflows, buying dynamics, regulatory requirements, technology ecosystems, and competitive landscape.
  • •Influence the product roadmap by translating market evidence into product requirements and distinguishing table stakes vs differentiators.
  • •Own GTM end to end for each vertical: ICP/audience, positioning, claims/proof, channel strategy, launch plan, sales motion, adoption plan, and partner/customer feedback loops.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of B2B software marketing and/or strategic GTM experience, with significant ownership of product or industry outcomes.
  • •Proven ability building GTM strategy for a specific industry or workflow-heavy market, with a strong point of view on verticalization.
  • •Deep familiarity with at least one of: Construction/A&E software, accounting and ERP workflows, nonprofits, public sector, procurement, accounts payable, or financial operations.
  • •Track record influencing product strategy using customer, competitive, market, and funnel evidence.
  • •Strong data literacy and exceptional written/verbal communication, including producing executive business cases and industry sales plays.
