Job Summary

Join Apollo’s direct lending team as an Associate, supporting underwriting and investing across multiple industries. Build financial models and perform sensitivity and comparable analyses, conduct exploratory research on new opportunities, and help analyze deals alongside the team. Contribute to legal documentation support, develop investment committee materials, and assist with portfolio monitoring, reporting, and investor-facing requests.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide analytical and project support for investment activities, including building financial models, sensitivity analyses, and industry research across multiple industries.
•Conduct exploratory research and analytics on potential investment opportunities with the team.
•Support deal team activities by analyzing and synthesizing new investment opportunities and assisting during legal documentation.
•Develop, present, and discuss investment committee memoranda and materials with senior team members.
•Assist with ad hoc projects including portfolio monitoring, reporting, investor requests, and presentations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required, with finance, accounting, or economics preferred; coursework in finance and accounting preferred with strong fundamentals of financial markets.
•At least 2 years of experience in credit investing and/or investment banking, with Leveraged Finance background strongly preferred.
•Strong interest in credit investing, specifically private credit and direct lending industries.
•Previous experience with/knowledge of credit agreements and/or bond indentures is preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
