Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform field and laboratory testing on asphalt pavements, concrete, aggregates, and soils to support construction and infrastructure projects.
  • •Conduct construction monitoring including excavations, subgrade inspection, shallow foundations, and pile monitoring.
  • •Prepare inspection reports and complete data entry while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • •Carry out geotechnical instrumentation readings and other on-site geotechnical work (including drill rig activities).
  • •Follow WSP project review, ethics, and safety policies and support health, safety, and quality performance.
Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 34.2 - 45.3 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Geotechnical Engineering Technology, Materials Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • •Experience performing field and laboratory testing of soils, asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
  • •Knowledge of CSA, ASTM, and related industry testing standards.
  • •Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • •Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to project sites as required.
