Job Summary

Lead and develop a high-performing software engineering team within Payoneer’s R&D group. Drive hands-on technical leadership, own design and production deployments, collaborate with Product, Design/UX and DevOps, and grow engineers while delivering customer-facing SaaS features in a complex payments platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate closely with Product, Design/UX, DevOps, and other R&D teams.
•Lead an autonomous team of software engineers who are working closely with product management to achieve business goals.
•Put special focus on developing the team.
•Provide technical authority to your team by demonstrating a hands-on leadership style.
•Be responsible for the overall design, development, architecture, code quality, and production environment deployment of your team.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of experience as a software technocrat, using C#, Nodejs or any OOP Language, REST APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous communication with Queues/Streams (RabbitMQ and Kafka).
•2+ years of experience with observability systems (Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.).
•2+ years of managerial experience, leading development of customer-facing products.
•Experience with messaging queues or streams such as RabbitMQ/SQS/Kafka.
•Broad knowledge of OOP and design patterns; Experience with Microservices; Engineering best practices (unit tests, code reviews, testing coverage, agile).
