Key Responsibilities

•Build and develop video processing applications for desktop and mobile systems.
•Research, evaluate, and optimize the performance of video processing algorithms across platforms.
•Design and develop algorithms for Zoom’s video processing pipelines at both module and system levels with modular, well-structured code.
•Customize, integrate, and deploy deep learning models for real-world applications on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.
•Set up test environments, develop test tools, and design unit tests to verify software runtime performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 137,700 - 275,400 annually

Key Requirements

•Hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics (or related), or a Masters with 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of equivalent professional experience.
•Experience with C/C++ or Objective-C and Python, ideally with released projects and top conference papers related to talking avatars/head/portrait.
•Demonstrated experience with neural rendering, generative models, diffusion models, transfer learning, or Gaussian Splatting.
•Background in image and video processing.
•Familiarity with multithreaded programming and multimedia data processing.
