Develop PCB schematics and layouts, automate measurement flows with instrument interfacing, analyze data across PVT corners, and build/test reliable interfaces (SPI/UART/UCI).
Location: Bengaluru
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate RF transceiver SoC systems for WiFi and UWB by applying system-level understanding of transmit/receive chains and performance metrics.
  • •Debug transmitter and receiver blocks to identify issues and drive solutions beyond reporting problems.
  • •Execute RF/IF/DC measurement and calibration-related activities, including noise figure/gain, linearity, LO leakage, DC offsets, and PLL/reference clock checks.
  • •Develop and maintain PCB schematics and layouts, review design changes, and coordinate with third-party PCB service companies.
  • •Build and automate measurement flows with instrument interfacing, process data across PVT corners, and distinguish IC issues from setup issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong system-level understanding of radio transceiver transmit/receive chains, modulation, and metrics such as PER/BER/SNR and EVM/RMSEE.
  • •Ability to debug RF transceiver SoC issues and identify root causes, including power/biasing, register sequencing/values, board-level issues, and process marginalities.
  • •Proficiency in RF/IF/DC measurements (e.g., noise figure, gain, linearity like P1dB/IIP2/IIP3, IQ gain/phase error, LO leakage, DC offsets) and test-mode operating point measurement.
  • •Experience developing PCB schematics and layouts, including material selection and stackup, with familiarity in Altium and Cadence Allegro flows.
  • •Experience coding/automating measurement flows with instrument interfacing, analyzing data across PVT corners, and using basic statistics to interpret errors.
