Key Responsibilities

  • •Scope, triage, and support remediation of Issues and Operational Risk Events (OREs) by influencing business units that own and execute remediation.
  • •Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis, including addressing repeated issue types and complex technology-related risks.
  • •Monitor technology environments to detect, analyze, and respond to emerging threats in real time using advanced threat detection tools and techniques.
  • •Oversee remediation end-to-end: track progress, validate resolution efficacy, ensure accountability, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • •Perform quality assurance on issue documentation and analyze trends to identify systemic risks or control weaknesses; incorporate lessons learned into future ORM practices.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years experience in operational risk management and the operational risk lifecycle activities.
  • •Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills to obtain buy-in from senior business/tech counterparts.
  • •Expertise in process governance aligned to policies and regulatory/operational standards.
  • •Experience within financial services industry.
  • •Understanding of AI systems and concepts relevant to technology risk and control work, including responsible AI governance/validation/monitoring for AI workflows.
