Job Summary

Provide technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and construction of bridges and other structural and infrastructure projects across public and private sectors. Conduct research and inspections, develop construction plans/specifications/cost estimates, apply advanced modeling and design requirements, and prepare technical reports and visualizations. Partner with cross-functional teams, maintain QA/QC and quality control, and help scope and manage medium-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Determine methods for collecting, compiling, and analyzing site and survey data (including blueprints, GIS, geotechnical, and hydrologic data) for project development.
•Perform structural engineering work and conduct research and inspections to confirm conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
•Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and safety/phasing plans in coordination with owners and other disciplines.
•Create and apply advanced modeling techniques and design requirements to support safety and future-ready structural functionality.
•Prepare technical reports, presentations, and 2D/3D illustrations, maintain QA/QC and quality control standards, and support health and safety plans.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related).
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience with structural or civil design.
•Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
•Proficient structural engineering knowledge across design/build and project work requirements.
•Experience planning, designing, and managing infrastructure/rehabilitation projects, including inspections and investigations.
