Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic civil engineering leadership and technical governance for development projects, ensuring compliance with AECOM standards and regulatory requirements.
  • •Lead, review, and approve civil engineering infrastructure designs and specifications for site development, earthworks, drainage, pavements, highways/access, utility infrastructure, and related works.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary technical specialists and civil engineers across UK and global teams to support project delivery.
  • •Support client engagement, business development, strategic asset planning, and sector thought leadership.
  • •Undertake project management responsibilities across a portfolio of schemes and mentor civil engineers to build capability.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or equivalent) or operating at chartered level with demonstrated leadership and professional authority.
  • •Significant experience in development-led infrastructure engineering (private/consultancy environment), with data centre sector experience a significant advantage.
  • •Experience delivering complex civil infrastructure projects, including design of road geometry, drainage, earthworks, pavements, and underground services using industry-standard software.
  • •Strong knowledge of planning, highways, drainage, and utility approval processes, with understanding of BIM modelling and collaborative platforms.
