Key Responsibilities

  • •Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders in Mexico.
  • •Oversee platform licensing at the state level, ensuring compliance across Ride-hailing, Couriers, Intercity, Cargo, and other verticals; manage the full licensing process.
  • •Develop and implement a national government relations strategy, including OKRs and detailed roadmaps and action plans.
  • •Identify and assess regulatory risks and opportunities, and develop strategies; manage regulatory and political crises with action plans.
  • •Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally (Growth, Legal, Communications, Finance, Product) to ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of experience in a tier-one multinational organization (in-house or as a consultant) is highly desirable.
  • •Degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, International Affairs, or a related field.
  • •Proven track record designing and executing public policy strategies and managing complex advocacy initiatives at national and regional levels.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English, including comfort in challenging/controversial policy debates.
