Strengthen government-facing brand visibility and provide strategic guidance to internal teams, collaborating cross-functionally to maintain regulatory compliance across multiple business verticals.

Key Responsibilities

•Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders in Mexico.
•Oversee platform licensing at the state level, ensuring compliance across Ride-hailing, Couriers, Intercity, Cargo, and other verticals; manage the full licensing process.
•Develop and implement a national government relations strategy, including OKRs and detailed roadmaps and action plans.
•Identify and assess regulatory risks and opportunities, and develop strategies; manage regulatory and political crises with action plans.
•Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally (Growth, Legal, Communications, Finance, Product) to ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or a related field.
•3+ years of experience in a tier-one multinational organization (in-house or as a consultant) is highly desirable.
•Degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, International Affairs, or a related field.
•Proven track record designing and executing public policy strategies and managing complex advocacy initiatives at national and regional levels.
•Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English, including comfort in challenging/controversial policy debates.
