Job Summary

Independently analyze and conduct systematic reviews of commercial loan relationships to evaluate credit quality, compliance with established policies, and overall risk. Compile and input loan and financial data, perform cash flow, balance sheet, trend, and collateral adequacy analyses, and assign credit risk grades with supporting rationale. Support loan review processes, including approval/origination risk grading and quarterly board review preparation, including exception and trend reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently complete loan reviews and assess adequacy of credit quality and policy compliance.
•Compile and input loan and financial data into loan review forms using loan system and file documents.
•Perform cash flow, balance sheet, trend, and collateral valuation adequacy analyses to determine credit risk grades.
•Recommend credit risk grades and provide supporting reasons; identify documentation and policy exceptions.
•Assist with quarterly board loan review preparation and monitor/track grade changes using target-risk loan data reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance with a minimum of 12 hours of accounting.
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial credit areas of banking (preferred).
•Must be analytical and detail oriented.
•Working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and database applications; ability to learn new software applications.
•Good oral and written communication skills and ability to learn and adhere to policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
