Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate Okuma CNC lathes and other equipment in the machining cell to produce precision components.
  • •Set up and operate conventional and programmable CMMs and perform measurement/verification of own work after first-piece checks.
  • •Perform tooling and fixture modifications, select speeds/feeds by material and finish requirements, and maintain close tolerances.
  • •Run machining and manual operations (e.g., drilling, turning, milling, grinding, reaming, tapping, threading, polishing, cleaning, and modifying parts) as needed for production flow.
  • •Support continuous improvement, safety compliance, and production efficiency; report defective material, faulty operation, and unusual conditions; maintain clean and orderly work areas/tools per 5S.

Salary: USD 35.28 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Completion of a Machinist or Tool & Die program from an accredited institution OR equivalent working experience.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC turning or milling.
  • •Ability to work from blueprints, methods sheets, set up sheets, and verbal instructions to produce parts to very tight tolerances.
  • •Experience using measurement instruments and performing in-process inspection/verification of own work.
