Key Responsibilities

  • •Hire, grow, and lead a team of Python and TypeScript engineers building and owning MongoDB integrations across an AI framework ecosystem.
  • •Set technical direction and unblock the team by contributing to exploratory work and guiding architectural trade-offs.
  • •Collaborate across product, program, sales, GTM, and peer engineering teams to define, prioritize, and deliver capabilities that improve the builder experience.
  • •Manage dependencies across drivers, platform capabilities, and other MongoDB product surfaces needed for integration success.
  • •Own monitoring, operations, maintenance, and ongoing quality of the integration portfolio, including testing strategy, release readiness, and CI/CD practices.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years building developer platforms, libraries, or other high-scale technical systems with strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript, including experience leading teams across both ecosystems.
  • •3+ years managing a team of software engineers and providing technical leadership for complex projects or products.
  • •Experience query optimization (especially MongoDB) and AI coding tools; distributed systems experience is an asset.
  • •Demonstrated success hiring, mentoring, and growing high-performing engineering teams, including feedback and performance management.
  • •Strong technical depth in developer-facing software and demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments while maintaining sound prioritization and architectural judgment.
