Job Summary

Operationalize and scale AI-powered industrial control systems for enterprise data center customers. Use Phaidra’s platform to model facilities for ingestion, commission and tune deployments, and troubleshoot support issues across multiple concurrent projects. Partner with product, TPMs, and data science teams to translate customer requirements into documentation, provide ongoing performance monitoring, and act as internal and customer-facing SME. This role can include 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Use Phaidra products and customer needs to model facilities for ingestion, working with data science to configure, commission, tune, and triage systems during support.
•Partner with product to identify and define product requirements per customer needs and translate stated/implied needs into documentation for software development.
•Provide ongoing support for deployed products, including resolving onboarding/support tickets, monitoring performance, troubleshooting control systems and equipment, and managing risks.
•Lead deployments and support of multiple solutions in parallel, analyzing performance and viability of engineered solutions.
•Serve as internal and customer-facing SME, delivering platinum support, advising research projects, and supporting sales and marketing efforts.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•10–15 years of experience as a controls engineer, programmer, or equivalent.
•Expertise in HVAC and data center cooling control methodologies, including chiller plant fundamentals, configurations, and sequence of operations.
•Strong working knowledge of industrial/commercial control systems and protocols such as BACnet and Modbus, plus experience programming with PLC and ladder/text/block languages.
•Ability to read and write Python scripts to implement insights and tooling.
•Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex domain concepts and AI/ML concepts to non-experts.
