Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce Mechanical building services engineering designs from concept design through to construction issue and site supervision.
  • •Execute projects within defined design, programme and cost parameters
  • •Carrying out designs on a variety of buildings within different sectors i.e. schools, healthcare, offices, leisure facilities, Government buildings, industrial etc
  • •Prepare technical specifications, design risk assessments, reports and drawings
  • •Represent AECOM at meetings with clients and contractors

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical Building Services degree qualified with CEng (or working towards)
  • •Proficient in the use of Hevacomp design or other appropriate software
  • •Familiar with and good working experience of IES Virtual Environment modelling software or equivalent
  • •Competent in the use of NBS specification writing software
  • •Competent in designing coordinated service runs and optimising ceiling spaces with electrical colleagues and other disciplines
