Job Summary

Design and help define the software system architecture for power electronics products by analyzing high-level requirements and translating control models into detailed specifications. Own and maintain the SW specifications backlog, operate as a product owner, and collaborate across product, system, and field application teams. Participate in Agile ceremonies and support other departments, including occasional customer site analysis, testing, mentoring, and training of less experienced members.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in designing the software system architecture for power electronics products, translating high-level requirements into detailed specifications.
•Study control models from the systems department and define how they should be implemented in software.
•Manage and maintain the SW backlog/specifications backlog and elaborate detailed SW specifications.
•Collaborate with Product Engineering, System Engineering, Field Application Engineers, and Technical Service.
•Participate in sprint planning/reviews/retrospectives and support other departments, including analysis and testing at customer facilities; train and mentor less experienced members.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Background in power electronics, firmware (FW) development, and/or software (SW) development.
•Experience using version control and code documentation tools for SW development.
•Ability to define SW architectures and translate very high-level or incomplete requirements into detailed specifications.
•Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
•Minimum academic qualifications: Sciences degree or Engineering.
