Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in designing the software system architecture for power electronics products, translating high-level requirements into detailed specifications.
  • •Study control models from the systems department and define how they should be implemented in software.
  • •Manage and maintain the SW backlog/specifications backlog and elaborate detailed SW specifications.
  • •Collaborate with Product Engineering, System Engineering, Field Application Engineers, and Technical Service.
  • •Participate in sprint planning/reviews/retrospectives and support other departments, including analysis and testing at customer facilities; train and mentor less experienced members.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Background in power electronics, firmware (FW) development, and/or software (SW) development.
  • •Experience using version control and code documentation tools for SW development.
  • •Ability to define SW architectures and translate very high-level or incomplete requirements into detailed specifications.
  • •Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • •Minimum academic qualifications: Sciences degree or Engineering.
