Job Summary

Support employees as the first line of People Operations, primarily for North America while also assisting the Philippines team as needed. Manage employee requests and People Ops processes including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employment verifications using HRIS and Workday transactions. Triage tickets, resolve inquiries via email/ticket/Slack, run reports and audits, and drive process improvements through proactive problem-solving and occasional ad-hoc People projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the first line of support for the People Team by triaging tickets and managing People Ops processes (onboarding, offboarding, job changes, employment verifications, and Workday transactions).
•Manage and resolve employee requests with accuracy, discretion, and care for employees in North America and as needed for the Philippines.
•Execute employee data updates (e.g., headcount planning, onboarding, offboarding, employment verification, and unemployment processing) and escalate exceptions.
•Answer People Ops inquiries across channels (email, ticket, or Slack), redirecting or escalating as appropriate to the quickest effective resource.
•Run reports and audits to identify potential or actual issues in the HRIS system and assist with special/ad-hoc People projects and process improvements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 78,200 - 105,800 annually

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of professional experience in a People Operations or HR shared services role supporting and interacting with employees.
•Strong customer service skills, including handling difficult, urgent, and sensitive personal employee situations with confidentiality.
•Familiarity with common HR practices in the USA; USA plus Canada experience preferred.
•Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
•Proficiency navigating multiple systems (including Workday) and experience with ticketing workflows, SLAs, audits, and compliance metrics.
