Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead research for Linkup and drive key modeling and evaluation decisions.
  • •Design and implement state-of-the-art retrieval and ranking systems for AI agents.
  • •Prototype, train, and evaluate new models for factual search and multimodal understanding.
  • •Build robust research pipelines, develop, deploy, and iterate on experiments end-to-end.
  • •Own large cross-functional initiatives from exploration to production.

Key Requirements

  • •MS degree is a must; PhD preferred
  • •5 years of experience minimum in information retrieval, computer science or machine learning
  • •Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, embeddings, or information retrieval systems
  • •HNSW and ANNs are second nature to you
  • •Care about performance, reliability, and code quality; enjoy optimizing bottlenecks
