Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders and track machine service intervals.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues and determine root cause and corrective action using real-time information.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs at shop and, when required, at customer sites for generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of applicable tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading schematics.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
