Research Scientist I/II

Design and execute experiments to optimize Freenome’s next-generation sequencing (NGS) assays for DNA/RNA and biomarker discovery. Prototype and improve NGS methods, troubleshoot workflows, and perform advanced analysis with data visualization to guide next steps. Collect and evaluate NGS datasets across genomics, epigenomics, and transcriptomics, and present findings at internal meetings while collaborating closely with computational biology and machine learning scientists.
