Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor role within the Newcastle Real Estate team, delivering cost management and quantity surveying across the full project lifecycle. You will work with conservators, architects and engineers to ensure best value for money, handle feasibility, cost planning, tendering, post-contract variances, and final accounts on iconic projects in the Northeast.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist on feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
•Estimate and cost plan, including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
•Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage.
•Deal with post-contract cost variances and the change control processes.
•Take personal responsibility for cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation.

Key Requirements

•A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
•Ideally professionally qualified (RICS or similar).
•Degree or HNC level qualification.
