Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, verify, validate, and deploy advanced aeroelastic simulation capabilities across low-, medium-, and high-fidelity methods.
  • •Support development of solutions for static/dynamic aeroelasticity, flutter prediction, divergence/control reversal, gust response/aeroservoelasticity, buffet response, and nonlinear behavior.
  • •Collaborate with structural dynamics, CFD, and multiphysics teams to build integrated simulation workflows for modal analysis, dynamic response, eigenvalue extraction, coupled aero-structural simulations, and FEA.
  • •Develop robust, scalable scientific software components including numerical algorithms, solver development, APIs/workflow automation, multiphysics integration, and verification/validation.
  • •Optimize and implement scalable simulation technologies using parallel computing concepts (MPI/OpenMP/GPU/accelerators) and contribute to end-to-end software lifecycle from prototype to commercial deployment.

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. with strong research experience in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Computational Engineering, or a related field, plus specialization in computational aeroelasticity/aerodynamics/CFD/structural dynamics.
  • •0–5 years of industrial experience or equivalent graduate/postdoctoral research experience in aeroelasticity across low to high speed flight regimes.
  • •Experience developing research software, computational tools, or numerical simulation capabilities, with an ability to translate research into practical engineering solutions.
  • •Programming experience in C++ and Python, with knowledge of software engineering best practices.
  • •Demonstrated technical publications and strong analytical/problem-solving skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
