Job Summary

Ensure the quality, integrity, and serviceability of print cylinders in the Pre-make Ready area. Record and inspect cylinders, match cylinders to job set-up sheets, and move them safely to staging and installation. Disassemble, clean, and store cylinders and bearings, maintain sumps and wash-solvent schedules, and follow MSDS/EHS documentation. Operate SRS per specifications, uphold Clean Vision and safety requirements, and support production teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Record and visually inspect incoming cylinders for shipping damage; store cylinders in the correct racks.
•Remove and log the correct cylinders listed on set up sheets, identifying and recording rack number.
•Inspect serviceability at the workbench and move cylinders to staging prior to press installation.
•Complete paperwork to ensure correct job number, cylinder number, unit number, and color for the job on press.
•Disassemble, clean, and safely return cylinders to the correct location, including proper bearing removal and sump maintenance/wash-solvent scheduling.

Key Requirements

•High school or G.E. D. required.
•2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing facility.
•Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE, including hazard materials/waste handling per guidelines.
•Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform prolonged standing and repetitive functions.
•Rotate shifts as required and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week when necessary.
