Own end-to-end supply planning for Falcon, Dragon, and Starfall—driving sourcing strategy, BOM configuration, lead times, and inventory (including spares) to support production flow and launch manifest. Partner with engineering and manufacturing to make make-vs-buy decisions, run should-cost and risk analyses, optimize logistics and ordering/redistribution, and lead initiatives that improve cost, quality, and delivery through continuous improvement.

•Plan, lead, improve, and execute sourcing strategies using metrics and end-to-end results for production success.
•Maintain accurate configuration of assemblies (BOMs) and ensure correct lead times and inventory levels, including spares.
•Facilitate make-vs-buy decisions and should-cost modeling for purchase order issuance and execution.
•Run risk management analysis using demand vs. supply and lead time stack-ups through launch vehicle integration.
•Optimize logistics, ordering/redistribution policies, and refurbishment/reusability planning; support supplier visits and lead performance improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience, or 4+ years of experience, in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations or supply chain management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
•Plan, execute, and improve pre-established sourcing strategies using end-to-end metrics for business and production success.
•Ensure accurate lead times and inventory levels (including spares) to mitigate piece-part shortages.
•Strong problem-solving skills with speed and accuracy, plus exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
•Ability to read drawings and blueprints and understand manufacturing processes.
