Key Responsibilities

  • •Assisting in the successful delivery of major development applications and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across various project types.
  • •Providing planning advice to colleagues and clients on planning consent requirements and the application of permitted development rights.
  • •Writing Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements for development applications; leading, submitting, and managing planning applications.
  • •Liaising and negotiating with local planning authorities and other key stakeholders; collaborating with Environmental Impact Assessment team.
  • •Contributing to planning research, feasibility reports, consent strategies, and support for successful commercial tenders.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning or related discipline (desirable).
  • •Membership of the RTPI or equivalent professional body (desirable).
  • •Demonstrable experience of working on planning applications.
  • •Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
  • •Commercial awareness and ability to write clearly and concisely.
