Job Summary

Provide support for geotechnical design for tenders and projects, including analyzing geotechnical data and preparing Geotechnical Interpretative Reports (GIR). Assist in evaluating tender and project designs, conduct and plan geotechnical investigations, and review construction design proposals from both internal work and third-party consultants. Support structure design using specialized software/calculations, assess stability under normal and seismic conditions, and ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Lead Geotechnical Engineer in design and evaluation of tender proposals and/or project design.
•Analyze geotechnical data, prepare Geotechnical Interpretative Reports (GIR), and perform calculations to produce data reports for the Manager.
•Plan and conduct geotechnical investigations and supervise site/ground investigations with line superiors.
•Review construction design proposals and verify geotechnical aspects, including designs developed by third-party consultants.
•Develop design drawings and specifications, assess structure stability under normal and seismic conditions, and ensure QA/QC and compliance with Health and Safety Policies.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Geotechnical or Geology), or equivalent.
•Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in engineering & design in related industries.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English required.
•Ability to manage and work with personnel from different cultural backgrounds.
•Strong IT skills (MS Office Suite and other relevant design/engineering IT tools).
