Job Summary

Lead the team building internal cloud DevOps platforms, tools, and automation that help Qantas deliver software faster and more safely. Own CI/CD and GitOps governance, developer-facing container platforms (ECS/EKS), artifact repositories and secrets management, and the Akamai (CDN) platform using infrastructure-as-code. Work closely with Engineering, Platform Ops, SRE, SecOps, and Architecture while mentoring engineers and improving the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle.

•Lead the design, governance, and standardisation of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices across engineering teams.
•Own the developer-facing container platform experience (ECS/EKS) with secure, reliable, self-service consumption.
•Own core developer platforms and tooling including artifact repositories, secrets management, and version control standards.
•Own the Akamai (CDN) platform, embedding automation and infrastructure-as-code into configuration and change management.
•Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and drive culture improvements focused on automation, self-service, and developer empathy.
