Job Summary

Lead overall financial leadership for a real estate portfolio across development and operations, driving financial performance, capital efficiency, and disciplined investment decision-making. Own forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and feasibility work, manage treasury and funding including project finance negotiations, and strengthen governance and internal controls under IFRS. Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team while supporting investment and commercial contract decisions across leasing, property management, and retail assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide overall financial leadership, governance, and strategic direction for the organization’s diversified real estate portfolio.
•Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management, and support executive evaluation of investments and development opportunities.
•Oversee development and asset finance, including project budgets, cash flows, escrow accounts, and contractor/consultant payment processes.
•Manage treasury and funding, including liquidity planning, banking relationships, and negotiations for project finance and refinancing.
•Lead audits, statutory reporting, and internal control frameworks to strengthen financial policies, systems, and controls; mentor and develop the finance team.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA) preferred.
•15+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in real estate development and asset management.
•Strong development finance experience, including project cash flows, escrow structures, and contractor payment processes.
•Strong financial modelling, feasibility analysis, and investment evaluation skills.
•Experience across development and operational real estate portfolios, including leasing, property management, and retail assets.
