Job Summary

Join TikTok’s UX team to drive the AI transformation of the design system and workflows. You’ll build internal AI tools using AI coding tools, scale the design system for product and AI needs, and raise app-wide design quality. Partner with engineering to translate design standards into high-quality implementations across platforms, while documenting and training teams to adopt AI workflows and the updated design system.

Key Responsibilities

•Define how AI agents, skills, and tools apply in design, and evolve the design system so AI can read, consume, and generate from it.
•Use AI coding tools fluently to develop and refine agents, skills, and design tools that accelerate AI adoption across the team.
•Apply abstraction and innovation to keep the design system scalable and maintainable as product needs evolve and AI workflows demand higher standards.
•Identify opportunities across business lines and use industry-leading design craft to continuously elevate overall app design quality.
•Translate design system standards and components into high-quality engineering implementations by partnering closely with engineers across platforms, and drive cross-team adoption via documentation and training.

Key Requirements

•Deep hands-on practice with AI coding tools to independently turn product and design ideas into high-fidelity, interactive demos that validate feasibility.
•Strong product and data sense with sharp design judgment, high aesthetic bar, and attention to experience detail, including ability to curate and elevate AI-generated output.
•Ability to identify and define problems in complex business and user contexts, propose well-judged solutions, and drive them to launch.
•Strong communication and cross-team collaboration in fast-changing environments.
•Strong self-drive and a learning loop, using reflection and retrospection to create reusable methods and insights.
