Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, grow, and mentor the Data Warehouse & Streaming Infra team, fostering ownership, collaboration, and high-pace execution.
  • •Own data warehousing, streaming, and processing end-to-end across UX, operations, reliability/security/governance/cost, and long-term strategy.
  • •Scale ingestion and streaming systems, including event streaming, change data capture, storage, orchestration, compute, query, and reporting.
  • •Collaborate on the roadmap for batch and streaming data infrastructure, balancing immediate business needs with durable, scalable design.
  • •Lead streaming backbone platform decisions (e.g., managed vs self-operated Kafka) and align the broader Infrastructure org on shared direction, tooling, and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of engineering management experience building and leading high-performing data infrastructure teams.
  • •People-first leadership with a track record of giving direct feedback, growing engineers’ careers, and earning trust across technical and non-technical partners.
  • •Deep hands-on expertise in both batch and streaming data infrastructure, including distributed log fundamentals (partitioning, delivery guarantees, backpressure).
  • •Experience owning systems with significant business or financial impact and shipping quickly while improving reliability, scalability, security, and cost.
  • •Strong hiring ability, with experience building teams from small to large and identifying exceptional talent.
