Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support for individual pupils and groups inside and outside the classroom to help them fully participate in school day activities and support their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
  • •Assist in implementing individual education programmes and help monitor pupil progress.
  • •Support pupils with additional support needs (e.g., emotional and behavioural difficulties) and help develop their social skills.
  • •Assist class teachers with maintaining pupil records, preparing and presenting pupils’ work displays, and supporting teaching tasks such as photocopying.
  • •Supervise pupils in classrooms and other locations, check attendance, monitor pupils on task, and provide praise/reinforcement while disciplining misbehaviour in line with school policy.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a minimum attested secondary school certificate, Diploma, or Degree.
  • •Minimum 1 year of experience as a Classroom Assistant.
  • •UAE National only.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
