Key Responsibilities

  • •Support environmental compliance by ensuring adherence to environmental laws, GSPCB requirements, and corporate environmental standards.
  • •Maintain statutory approvals (CTO, CTE) and coordinate inspections and regulatory audits, including timely statutory returns and reports.
  • •Monitor and manage effluent & water performance by overseeing ETP operations, sampling, and water/wastewater tracking for conservation opportunities.
  • •Oversee air emissions and pollution control by monitoring emissions, ensuring equipment operation/maintenance, and coordinating environmental monitoring and permit compliance.
  • •Support ISO 14001 implementation and continual improvement by maintaining environmental documentation, participating in ISO audits, and driving CAPA closure while preparing monthly MIS/KPI reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, Mechanical (or equivalent).
  • •4–7 years of experience in environmental management within process/manufacturing industries such as alcohol, brewery, distillery, FMCG, chemical, or food & beverage.
  • •Knowledge of water & wastewater treatment (ETP operations), hazardous waste management, and relevant environmental regulations (Water Act, Air Act, Environmental Protection Act, GSPCB) plus ISO 14001.
  • •Experience with environmental monitoring, statutory reporting, and liaison with regulatory agencies.
  • •Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills; able to work independently while supporting the EHS Manager.
