Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, organise, raise permits, and oversee contractors carrying out civil works including road resurfacing, concrete repairs, slab laying, and paving.
  • •Oversee CDM projects including excavations and remedial repairs, ensuring compliance with site standards and permit-to-work systems.
  • •Scope, plan, and deliver infrastructure repairs such as storm damage and roof leaks; produce and manage permits for civils activities.
  • •Review RAMS to address site-specific risks; raise and execute work orders and carry out planned preventative maintenance.
  • •Operate site plant and equipment (tractor, vacuum tanker, forklift, cherry picker), maintain accurate records, mentor contractors, and support winter activities (snow clearing and gritting).

Key Requirements

  • •Time-served civils, construction or infrastructure background, or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience in industrial or process plant environments (preferred).
  • •Competence operating site plant and lifting equipment.
  • •CDM and permit-to-work experience (desirable).
  • •Strong practical knowledge of civil and infrastructure maintenance; ability to maintain accurate records.
