Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct customer discovery and advocacy by understanding storage needs, pain points, and growth plans.
  • •Own and prioritize the storage product roadmap across block, file, and object based on customer requests, feasibility, and business impact.
  • •Define customer-facing storage product strategy including tiering, versioning, backup/restore, and lifecycle management.
  • •Lead cross-functional initiatives with Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Software Engineering, and SRE to define specifications, timelines, and economics.
  • •Communicate product tradeoffs to executives and create/maintain product documentation to help customers understand storage capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of technical product management experience (or product-minded engineering) with experience at Staff or Group PM scope.
  • •Strong customer orientation with ability to gather and synthesize feedback into product decisions that drive revenue and retention.
  • •In-depth understanding of cloud technologies and services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • •Experience building and launching storage products (block volumes, file systems, or object storage).
