Job Summary

Lead the PMO strategy and operating model to drive effective, efficient, and predictable delivery of the product development portfolio. Own portfolio planning (LRP/AOP), governance, and performance metrics spanning delivery, schedule, resources, cost, risks, and business value. Partner across functions and senior leaders to translate strategy into prioritized initiatives, improve execution capability, strengthen financial visibility and stage-gate discipline, and develop/coach project and program managers.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the PMO function for Thermo King, including portfolio governance, PM standards, operating mechanisms, and execution discipline across product development.
•Translate strategy into an executable, prioritized product development portfolio aligned to demand, capacity, timing, investment, and business value.
•Run annual and multi-year portfolio planning (LRP/AOP), innovation reviews, and portfolio decision forums.
•Establish, monitor, and improve PMO performance metrics covering delivery predictability, schedule adherence, resource utilization, cost performance, risk management, and portfolio health.
•Lead, coach, and develop project and program managers, and foster a proactive risk management culture through governance and stage-gate execution reviews.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 133,633.33 - 186,830 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience (equivalent combination considered).
•Significant experience leading complex programs, portfolios, or PMO functions in product development or similarly complex environments.
•Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
•Experience partnering across functions and influencing decisions with senior leaders in a matrixed organization.
•Experience with portfolio planning, prioritization, resource management, governance, and financial stewardship (planning, forecasting, tracking).
