Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee transportation and infrastructure projects by providing technical expertise and construction engineering inspection support to meet contract, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • •Serve as senior technical resource/technical advisor and provide specialized input for studies and design within the roadway engineering discipline.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation; prepare and review specification sections for completeness and compliance.
  • •Develop study/design procedures, produce cost estimates and technical effort estimates, and apply expertise across PS&E package discipline components.
  • •Lead small-to-mid-sized project teams, coordinate across multiple disciplines, conduct independent technical reviews, mentor junior engineers, and manage client/stakeholder communications on technical matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects.
  • •Familiarity with FDOT plan production and design criteria.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months.
  • •Experience with Bentley Open Roads and 3D Modeling, including ability to design typical sections, alignments, and drawings.
