Job Summary

Deliver expert, patient-centred care as a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Lung Cancer Service at Cromwell Hospital. Coordinate diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of lung cancer and complex thoracic conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Work with consultants and the multidisciplinary team to manage patient pathways, support Lung MDT decisions, and drive service improvement through audits, quality projects, and education/mentorship.

•Support lung and oncology outpatient clinics by assessing patients and coordinating investigations, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
•Coordinate Lung MDT communications and contribute to service improvement through audits, quality projects, and pathway development.

Key Requirements

•Experience caring for patients with complex cancer diagnoses across inpatient and outpatient settings.
•Ideally an interest or experience in lung cancer nursing, thoracic oncology or respiratory oncology.
