Key Responsibilities

  • •Take end-to-end technical ownership of the assigned digital domain.
  • •Define and maintain target architecture, engineering standards, and technical roadmap.
  • •Provide hands-on leadership across design, implementation, integration, release, and production operations.
  • •Lead and challenge vendor engineering teams to ensure compliance with Qiddiya Digital standards and validate deliverables with measurable evidence.
  • •Manage resilience/reliability/security/performance, ensure automated testing and CI/CD controls, run release/rollout/rollback and production readiness practices, and lead incident management and permanent remediation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • •Extensive software-engineering experience as a Lead, Staff, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or senior architecture role.
  • •Hands-on ability to challenge implementation-level decisions and provide senior technical leadership across delivery and operations.
  • •Experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed, cloud-native, highly available platforms for customer-facing digital products (e.g., commerce, payments, loyalty, identity).
  • •Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, observability, resilience/security, automated testing, CI/CD, and production operations, including vendor oversight.
