Key Responsibilities

  • •Own manufacturing engineering for parts as they transition off the design team, including tooling, process, and production responsibility.
  • •Build and run design-to-manufacturing handoffs, deciding what to systematize versus keep flexible before full design lock.
  • •Develop functional, end-to-end test fixtures and protocols to verify quality on the line.
  • •Design jigs, fixtures, and assembly aids, and identify automations/semi-automations to improve speed and consistency.
  • •Build the manufacturing backbone (work instructions, revision/change practices, and production documentation) and hire/mentor a team.

Key Requirements
