Job Summary

Lead Asset Based Lending (ABL) portfolio management for complex commercial customer relationships, serving as the primary ABL coverage team member. Own ongoing credit risk management, portfolio reviews, and credit documentation, while developing external customer relationships to drive satisfaction and retention. Recommend credit structures, pricing, and workout strategies, monitor reporting timeliness and risk ratings (including PD/LGD), and mentor junior team members. Some travel is required.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage ongoing credit risk for a complex ABL portfolio and participate in portfolio meetings with senior management.
•Develop and maintain external customer relationships through regular meetings and business development calls; attend client meetings independently when assigned.
•Recommend credit structures and pricing, capture and document credit decisions/conditions/modifications, and strategize solutions for problem clients without supervision.
•Maintain and update trend cards/portfolio review forms, credit files and legal files; monitor timeliness of reporting and ensure accurate information for decisions.
•Evaluate/update risk rating analysis (including PD and LGD) and provide mentorship to junior team members (Credit Analysts, Associates, and Principals).

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,500 - 207,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting).
•8 years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience in Commercial Banking.
•6-7+ years of Asset Based Lending experience (underwriting, field examination, or loan officer), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret business and regulatory materials and produce reports and correspondence.
•Intermediate Word and Excel skills; strong financial and risk analysis (including financial modeling) and problem-solving capability.
