Key Responsibilities

  • •Create 3D BIM models to a high level of accuracy for projects of varying size and complexity.
  • •Develop plans, sections, elevations, and detailed production drawings from 3D BIM models while following AECOM standards.
  • •Set up and manage large sheet sets, including revisions and markups; produce plots to PDF/DWG or paper.
  • •Assist and direct BIM workflows, including setup/geo-localization of multiple models and coordination of model exchanges.

Key Requirements

  • •4–6 years of experience is preferred in BIM/drawing production and model-based workflows.
  • •Experience and understanding of REVIT Structure and AutoCAD Architecture, including interfacing with REVIT Architecture and MEP.
  • •Thorough understanding of building components for intelligently and efficiently modeling structural components to maintain model integrity.
  • •Working knowledge of drawing production, standard construction techniques, and principles.
  • •Experience with rendering/graphic formats and strong 3D parametric modeling; Rhino, Grasshopper, TEKLA, Dynamo, and BIM platform data exchanges are preferred.
