Key Responsibilities

•Develop architecture solutions for airborne radar antenna arrays, including high-density packaging and payload designs, and electronic components/devices such as ASICs and FPGAs.
•Design RF hardware used in high-performance communication products (SDRs, amplifiers, receivers, exciters, data links) for ground, airborne, and space applications.
•Follow established procedures to create technical data packages and coordinate with program management to meet design objectives.
•Contribute to product development from inception through documentation, fabrication, assembly, and test/delivery of military products.
•Occasional travel up to 25% to other RTX facilities and customer sites.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
•RF circuit design experience using Ansys HFSS or Cadence Clarity EM modeling software
•RF system simulation and design experience using ADS, Genesys, and SystemVue
•Experience designing and testing analog CCAs (Circuit Card Assemblies), including frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design, MMICs, and analog filter design
•Experience with microwave testing techniques, including spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, oscilloscopes, VNAs and PNAs
