Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and manage the production department to ensure operational efficiency, safety/quality compliance, and execution of company policies and goals.
  • •Lead production scheduling and optimization to maximize productivity, meet quality standards, and deliver orders on time.
  • •Oversee Quality Control implementation and ensure high-quality products aligned to sales orders and customer satisfaction.
  • •Manage shift scheduling and manpower coverage for 24/7 operations, including workstation assignments, rotations, breaks, overtime, and absence coverage.
  • •Enforce food safety and EHS standards (including HACCP, cGMP, ISO requirements) and drive continuous improvement using lean and problem-solving methodologies; partner with maintenance to resolve abnormalities.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading a team and developing team growth, with the ability to set/review expectations and coach/motivate employees.
  • •Knowledge of production operations and process control, including detecting and addressing abnormalities.
  • •Ability to implement safety and quality practices, follow instructions, and handle disciplinary matters per company policy.
  • •Experience with production-related project management to ensure timely, successful completion.
  • •Understanding of process improvement with problem-solving tools/methods such as DMAIC and Six Sigma Green Belt; spray drying knowledge is a plus.
