Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise HR and business leaders on employee life cycle matters including hiring, performance, compensation, leave, terminations, pay equity, and restrictive covenants.
  • •Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (including FLSA, ADA/ADAAA, ADEA, Title VII, EPA, FMLA, and OWBPA).
  • •Assist with and manage outside counsel for employment litigation (restrictive covenant/breach of contract, discrimination/retaliation, and wage and hour claims).
  • •Manage and respond to employment-related claims, demand letters, and administrative agency/EEOC charges; support internal investigations.
  • •Draft employment, separation, and compensation agreements and plans; monitor legal/regulatory updates and update company policies and practices as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •5 or more years of relevant employment law experience with a law firm
