Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently operate snack packaging machinery under general supervision to ensure continuous production.
  • •Read the production schedule, maintain roll stock and packaging materials, and monitor codes, dates, and prices.
  • •Perform machine setups, changeovers between products, and micro logic adjustments to maintain low waste and standard speeds.
  • •Monitor and adjust sealing/cut-off quality, check weights and product appearance, and handle run-off (sort and rework).
  • •Maintain cleanliness, report maintenance problems, practice safety and hygiene procedures, and may provide leadership on the packaging line.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly and occasionally lift/move more than 50+ lbs with mechanical or peer assistance.
  • •Ability to comply with safety and hygiene guidelines, including safe lifting/carrying procedures.
  • •Understand and demonstrate skills for machine setups, changeovers, procedural adjustments, sanitation cleanup, and shutdown.
  • •Must be able to operate packaging equipment and monitor production quality (codes, dates, prices, weights, and appearance).
