Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive battery pack development from concept to production, achieving performance, cost, reliability, and DFM support on accelerated timelines.
  • •Act as the main point of contact between the Core Battery Group and internal product teams across the program lifecycle.
  • •Translate user stories and CONOPs into actionable ESS requirements with program teams.
  • •Lead battery cell selection using accelerated de-risking and validation processes.
  • •Support manufacturing ramp and fielded system sustainment, including bring-up, testing/debugging, vehicle integration, and root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or fundamental Physical Sciences with an applied focus on energy storage technologies, plus 5+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting energy storage systems.
  • •Past ownership of battery pack design and prototype assembly.
  • •Demonstrated technical ownership delivering robust, high-performance energy storage systems from prototype to production.
  • •Professional awareness of at least one: battery management system (BMS) electrical design, BMS algorithms/software functionality, or BMS validation against operational requirements.
